In our final part of where are they now we talked to Redhill legend Mark Endsleigh to hear his memories and see what he's up to now?

Mark collecting his manager of the season award from manager Ken Ireland.

Mark Endsleigh has had a connection to Redhill football club panning four decades, he has been a player, a manager and a committe member in his time, and landed the club its first piece of silverware for a while when his U18 side won the Combined Counties Youth League a few seasons ago.

So who better to ask about his memories than the man who played over 450 games for the Lobsters.

Mark great to speak to you, what are you doing with your time now you have stepped away from managing the youth team?

I play a lot of golf at weekends now as I try to improve my handicap, I also enjoy watching my two sons play football. During the week im busy with work, as I'm a commercial manager. I am still involved at Redhill as a committee member and try and help the club where I can when needed.

Looking back at the beginning of your story with the club, when did you make your debut?

My debut came away at Folkestone Invicta in 1986, it was a shock to the system as they had a big stand and terracing around the ground, something I hadn't experienced before, Norman Dearlove was the first team manager back then and we played in the London Spartan League.

You must have some great memories of games, players and times in the bar after games. What stands out now?

Brian Medlicotts testimonial in front of over 1000 fans at Kiln Brow was a great experience, we played a strong Crystal Palace side that night. I also played against Palace in a charity game on a Sunday morning in front of a big crowd, Steve Coppell played alongside other first team players.

Two other games that really stand out just like they did for Rhys and Perry were the cup win at Hastings United where we weren't given much hope of beating higher opposition but we won the cup in extra time down in Sussex with me getting my most important goal for the club to secure a 2-1 win, and lifting the Southern Floodlit Cup on away goals. The other being our FA Cup 4th Qualifying tie at home to Crawley when we narrowly lost 1-0 in front of a crowd over 1000.

With such a long association with the club you must of seen some fantastic players over the years, who are the best?

Its hard to single out one player from my time, Brian Medlicott was a fantastic player and leader when I joined and he played over 700 games for the club, Ricky Kidd was another who had done everything in non league football winning the Trophy with Dagenham. Micky Stephens, Perry Williams, Paul Short and Dave Savage were also up there amongst others.

Mark went onto manage the first team back in the early 2000s alongside ex team mate and good friend Rhys Williams, later taking over as the U18 youth team manager where he bought the club some success, winning the Combined Counties South division with a team that included lots of local talented lads including his own son Luke.

The club awarded Enzo with a much deserved testimonial against Woking as his playing days came to an end which just justified the tag 'Redhill legend.' With some great old ex players turning out for the Redhill XI.

Marks honours for the club included that Southern Floodlit Cup, and of course that Combined Counties Youth league triumph. On a personal level Mark was always a popular player around the Brow picking up two supporter of the year awards.

Thank you for your time Enzo its been great to speak to you, we hope there's more good days on the golf course than bad in the next few years. Thanks for remaining a part of Redhill Football Club.
