The Week Ahead

Charlie Bright5 Nov 2019 - 17:41

A look ahead to our teams fixtures in the next week.

The Lobsters will look to bounce back from their FA Vase defeat this Saturday (3pm) as they travel to CB Hounslow in the Premier Division.

Barry Wilde will hope to have some bodies back in the squad after missing 9 first team players at Binfield on Saturday. It's a massive game for both clubs with the Dragons two places and three points above the Reds in the table, although the Lobsters do have two games in hand.

CB have struggled of late with no win in their last 5 games, their last league game saw them beaten 5-0 by Sutton Common Rovers, and they were also beaten 5-0 last time out by National South leaders Wealdstone in the Middlesex County Cup. So no doubt they will be eager to make it a very tough afternoon for the Lobsters.

There's another tough away game for the Reds next Tuesday (7.45pm) as they travel to Spelthorne Sports in the league, Sports have started well this season and sit 4th in the CCL. The Lobsters have shown they can match anyone on their day and will have to be at their best to get a result.

The Midweek U18s travel to unbeaten Balham on Thursday (7.45) the young Lobsters put in a good shift last week at Chessington & Hook going down to a 2-0 defeat but putting on a decent second half display. It'll be a tough game at Balham who have won 8-0 and 6-0 in their two league games this season.

The Sunday U18s welcome Kingstonian U18s to the Brow this Sunday (11am) as they look to continue their good start to the campaign. The Reds have won 3 out of 4 league games this season, while the K's are currently top after winning 5 and drawing 1 of their 6 games.

Get behind our teams this week, as we look for a positive seven days!
