Redhill progressed to the next round of the Southern Combination Cup.

The Lobsters eased past Horsley in a wet night at Kiln Brow with a 6-0 win. Marcus Travers who has made his early appearances for the Reds at right back started up front, with Matt McKenzie playing at full back.

It was Travers who opened the scoring for the home side on 10 minutes, Evan Lopes done well beating three defenders before crossing for Travers to head home. It was nearly two shortly after as Gary Abisogun rounded the keeper but saw his effort cleared off the line.

Morgan Jenden nearly added to his brilliant strike at Sutton with another great effort that smashed off the bar and away for a goal kick. But it was 2-0 when Lopes burst through and saw his effort deflected in to give the Reds a two goal cushion at half time.

The second period followed the first with the home side taking early control, Fred Hill keeping up his recent good goalscoring form making it 3-0 just after half time. Credit to Horsley who didn't give up, battling away to keep the Reds at bay.

They couldn't do anything about the Lobsters fourth, Ben Ewing picking the ball up from a corner and rifling home left footed with a stunning strike. Three minutes later it was five, Jordan Harrison getting his name on the score sheet firing into the roof of the net.

Sam King rounded off the scoring making it 6-0 to the Reds with 2 minutes to go after good work by Fred Hill. The Lobsters will find it tougher in the next round as they progressed to face Abbey Rangers.
